Delhi Police arrested one person accused of murdering his 30-year-old wife and her lover in the national capital, police said on Saturday. According to the Delhi Police, the double murder mystery was unravelled within six hours of the incident. "On December 30, an intimation was received that a 30-year-old woman and a man, both gravely injured, are lying in a pool of blood on the footpath near gate number two Safdarjung Hospital on Aurobindo Marg. Both of them were rushed to Safdarjung Hospital. The 30-year-old woman had a sharp injury on the face and the man, namely Sagar had severe injuries," Delhi Police said. "Both died to their injuries during treatment in hospital," police added. Border Security Force ordered a court inquiry after one of its sniffer dogs in Meghalaya gave birth to three puppies, and the deputy Commandant rank officer has to submit a report into the matter. The order copy accessed by ANI says that in compliance with the Station Head Quarters BSF Shillong order on December 19, a Deputy Commandant of the unit is to conduct a Summary Court of Inquiry (SCOI) to investigate the circumstances under which the female dog Lalcy delivered three puppies at Border Out Post Baghmara on December 5 at about 10 am. A lawsuit filed in New York state alleges that Hershey's "fails to disclose" that some of its chocolate products "contain unsafe levels of lead and cadmium". On December 28, a New York man named Christopher Lazazzaro filed the lawsuit in federal court on Long Island. The suit seeks class-action status against the mass-market chocolatier, which obtained the licence to manufacture Cadbury products in the United States in 1988, as per a report in The Guardian . The outlet further states that Hershey's sources its ingredients and manufactures its products with "exclusive knowledge of the quality control testing on the products and the ingredients contained therein," the lawsuit claims that Hershey "knew and could not be unaware of the existence of lead and cadmium in the products." A gym owner was shot dead in his office by three men in East Delhi's Preet Vihar on Friday, and took the CCTV recorder with them, making the probe more complicated, police said. The victim, 45-year-old Mahendra Aggarwal, ran a chain of Energy Gym and Spa, and sold gym equipment too. He was in his company headquarters office above one of his gyms around 8 pm when three armed men entered and immediately fired a number of shots at him. A bullet to his head killed him, police said. While escaping, the killers took away the recording device attached to the CCTV security cameras of the office. Police are now scanning footage from other CCTV cameras in the area to get clues. A snow leopard was spotted in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti district on Monday, in a rare sight in the tourist-packed Himalayan state. The snow leopard was filmed resting on rocks in Chicham village of Kaza. The big cat was captured on camera by Ajay Banyal, an Assistant Public Relations Officer in the Himachal Pradesh government, reports said. Snow leopards are rare species of wildlife that are highly threatened due to poaching for their skin, bones, and other body parts. Uzbekistan has claimed that at least 18 children in the country have died after allegedly taking an India-manufactured cough syrup. The health ministry of Uzbekistan, in a statement, said that the children who died had consumed cough syrup Doc-1 Max - manufactured by Noida-based Marion Biotech. The laboratory tests of a batch of syrups found presence of ethylene glycol - a toxic substance in the preparation, the ministry said. It also said the syrup was given to children at home without a doctor's prescription, either by their parents or on the advice of pharmacists, with doses that exceeded the standard dose for children. According to the company website, the syrup is given to treat cold and flu symptoms. After the deaths of 18 children, Doc-1 Max tablets and syrups have been withdrawn from all pharmacies in the country, the statement said, adding that seven employees were dismissed because they failed to analyse the situation in a timely manner and take necessary measures. ...
